Hattie Carnegie Jewelry

Hattie Carnegie was an American fashion and costume jewelry designer of Austrian-Jewish descent.  Her famous vintage costume jewelry is now highly recognizable and collectible.  Take a look at the whimsical jewelry pieces below.    Her jewelry featured what appears to be rhinestones and silver or gold-tone, along with celluloid, Lucite and Bakelite molds and beads.

The second picture below shows a sweet owl brooch with art deco headdress and crystal or rhinestone eyes.   It is simply adorable.

I love the fanciful jade-colored rooster which is so full of personality and texture.

The third picture is her snail jewelry designed with elegant rhinestone and gold detailing.
